ECINDEPENDENT EXAM-ACCESS GUIDE

EC-Council exam access: CEH eligibility and voucher checks

Choose the right credential before paying for an attempt. EC-Council—not ITCertPath—controls exam eligibility, authorized training, voucher issuance, scheduling, scoring and certification. This guide explains the CEH 312-50 route and links other EC-Council credentials to their official pages.

There is no ITCertPath checkout or claimed EC-Council reseller authorization on this page. Confirm an educator's authorization with EC-Council before relying on an official-training or bundled-voucher claim.

CEH 312-50 EXPLAINED

Separate the CEH exam from the training version.

The official certification body identifies CEH as exam 312-50 and describes a 125-question, four-hour knowledge exam. A CEH training version such as v13 is not an alternative exam code. CEH (Practical) is a separate hands-on assessment; EC-Council describes CEH Master as a designation earned by holding both credentials, not a third exam to purchase.

01

Official training route

EC-Council says official training through an approved route can establish exam eligibility. Confirm the educator's authorization, course completion evidence and whether the specific package includes an exam attempt before paying.

02

Experience-based route

If you do not take official training, EC-Council asks for verifiable two years of information-security work experience and a non-refundable eligibility application fee. EC-Council—not ITCertPath—reviews the application and may approve or reject it.

03

Purchase after approval

For the experience route, EC-Council sends linked purchase options after approval. Use the official store or a separately verified authorized training partner; do not buy an unrelated code that cannot be matched to your eligibility record.

04

Check the written terms

Its general policy states vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Confirm the exact expiry shown on your voucher, applicable extension rules and any booking deadline before payment.

Match the credential to the work you do

These are exam-access guides, not a claim that every attempt is stocked or that every program uses one retail voucher. Codes appear only where an official EC-Council source supports them. Verify the current exam format and prerequisites for your chosen path.

INDIA AND USA

Check your actual testing country before booking.

The official route is the starting point in both countries, but local availability, accepted identification, test-center or proctored options, final currency and applicable taxes can differ. Enter the country where you will take the exam in the provider's process. Do not assume that a code bought for one location can be used in another.

03

Training-provider check

If a course advertises an official voucher, ask EC-Council to verify that provider's authorization and get the included exam, delivery mode and validity in writing.

EXAM-ACCESS QUESTIONS

EC-Council voucher and eligibility FAQs

Does ITCertPath issue or sell EC-Council exam vouchers here?+

No exam attempt is sold through this page. ITCertPath offers independent preparation and route guidance; this page does not claim that ITCertPath is an EC-Council Authorized Training Center or voucher reseller. Purchase through EC-Council or a training partner whose authorization you verify directly with EC-Council.

How can I qualify for the CEH 312-50 exam?+

EC-Council lists two routes: complete official EC-Council training, or apply without that training using verifiable two years of information-security experience and a non-refundable eligibility application fee. EC-Council reviews the evidence and decides eligibility. Independent ITCertPath training does not by itself satisfy the official-training route.

When should I buy the CEH exam attempt?+

Check whether official training already includes an exam voucher. If you use the experience-based route, wait for EC-Council eligibility approval and follow its linked purchase instructions. Confirm the exam code, delivery method, country, currency, taxes and final amount before paying.

How long is an EC-Council voucher valid, and can I transfer it?+

EC-Council's general policy sets a maximum one-year validity from purchase and says new, retake and extended vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. A CEH store listing describes one year from release. Confirm the actual issue and expiry dates on your own voucher and the current extension rules with EC-Council before payment.

Are India and USA CEH bookings identical?+

Do not assume that exam delivery, test-center or remote-proctor availability, identity checks, currency, taxes or appointment times are the same in India and the USA. Check the options in EC-Council's current eligibility, purchase and scheduling process for the country where you will test.
