Write the business brief before choosing a batch
Describe the delivery problems that prompted the request: unresolved stakeholder conflict, unreliable forecasts, inconsistent handovers or weak escalation decisions. Identify two or three observable behaviours you want to change. ‘Everyone passes an exam’ does not describe the organisational capability you need.
Separate the learning audience from the certification-ready audience. Some employees may need fundamentals but not yet meet the experience requirements for PMP. Avoid making an exam booking a compulsory first step for every participant. A confidential self-assessment can identify different learning paths without publicly ranking colleagues.
- Headcount, roles, countries and working time zones.
- Predictive, agile and hybrid experience across the cohort.
- Desired delivery outcomes and target preparation window.
- Protected learning time, accessibility needs and recording policy.
- Whether the request includes eligible training hours, practice or application review.
Use project exercises that reveal judgement
Run a stakeholder workshop around an invented rollout with competing service and finance goals. Ask each group to agree a measurable outcome, a feedback mechanism and an escalation boundary. Compare the reasoning, not the polish of the slide deck.
Follow with a planning exercise in which a supplier lead time changes. Teams should inspect the dependency, compare realistic alternatives and explain who may authorise a revised commitment. Finish with a benefits review: a deliverable can be accepted while the intended operational improvement has not yet occurred. Ask who owns the measurement after handover.
| Exercise | Evidence to inspect |
|---|---|
| Stakeholder alignment | An agreed outcome and a way to resolve conflicting expectations |
| Delivery forecast | Assumptions, dependencies and justified options |
| Benefits handover | An owner, baseline and follow-up measurement |
| AI-assisted report review | Verified claims, protected data and human approval |
Measure progress without inventing a pass promise
Use an initial diagnostic to plan instruction, not to label employees. Repeat comparable but fresh scenarios after learning and ask participants to explain their choices. A higher score on a memorised bank is not reliable evidence of improved judgement.
Report cohort-level learning themes where possible. Keep individual results and application details private, agree who can access them and set a retention period. Ask managers to check for practical changes several weeks after training, such as clearer decision logs or fewer unresolved handover actions. Do not attribute every business outcome to the course.
Request a proposal with clear delivery boundaries
Ask for a written curriculum, delivery format, facilitator information, time-zone schedule, practice access period, support scope and itemised price. Confirm whether exam fees and membership are excluded. No dates, trainers or seat availability are promised on this page; these must be confirmed for your request.
If staff need the course for training-hour eligibility, verify the delivering provider and the rules applying to the completion date. The live-provider change on 1 December 2026 makes this a procurement check, not a small print detail. Use the contact-hours guide before approving a purchase order.
